Assuming you've already gone through the whole "Delete this, keep this" method of clearing out the junk from your laptop to make room.

Quick and easy solution:
Get your butt to the nearest store that sells external hard drives and get one. Make sure its got the right connections for your laptop. Make it a big one, since looks like you horde a lot of data. Transfer all the stuff you don't need to access immediately on to the external, get your iphone in order and then sort out your file management once everything is no longer under the time crunch of fixing your phone.

Not as quick, not as easy, but a much better long term solution:

Go to your friendly mac certified repair shop (apple store, or local shop), buy a new much larger hard drive for your laptop. Ask the service techs if they can clone your old drive on to the new drive. Should take all of a day to do.

Best solution:
Do both of these. That way you have an external drive for when this happens next time.
