I hardly ever play on my xbox one, but the new Madden 15 came out and I wanted to play online, but I've been having trouble connecting. I just assumed the EA servers were swamped or not optimized seeing how the game came out and the message was saying the servers were not up. I then tried to play another game this morning and got the same issue which prompted me to try all the other games I own online and same thing every time. All the apps like Netflix and Youtube and Amazon and what not work just fine, I just can't connect to game servers. I'm plugged in thru Ethernet from my router. I realized all the problems came once I connected thru a wired connection whereas before I had it hooked up wirelessly. Once I unplugged the Ethernet cable I could then connect to all the game servers. When I was running connection tests thru my xbox when it wasn't working properly it was saying it was a DHCP error. I'm not too savvy with networking, but I went into my router and checked the basics and uPnP was on and it said DHCP was on (I'm not sure if it's as much as a on/off type of thing though) so in the future if I want to run wired for a better connection, what would I need to do? I have a Ubee D3.0 cable modem, a Netgear RangeMax wireless router and an Xbox one. I also have Comcast internet (which is atrocious) in the Chicagoland area. Looking for any possible help.

Thanks
