Hello,

I want to replace my current gpu (AMD 7750) with a Nvidia GTX 750 TI/760.

However, I am using a quite old CPU, and I'm not sure if it's worth to get a 760 if my cpu will bottleneck it.

I am using a Corsair VS 350w PSU.

You definitely wouldn't want to bottleneck the graphics card. So maybe upgrade the CPU first then graphics card and PSU. At least 450W is recommended for the GTX 750Ti and GTX 760. :)

No problem, that is a good enough CPU and will be okay for the next couple of years at least.

Get the GTX 760, you won't bottleneck it ;)

only 760 makes sense as far as the performance gain goes, the 750 ti might work on the current config but it's not worth spending as much as it costs for a single digit performance increase.

for 760 you'd need both a faster cpu and a more powerful psu.

the q9450 wont bottlenck a 750ti but you will need more power... i know its getting on but the intel core 2 quads were no slouch when it came to gpu bandwidth so yeah you should get all the performance a 750ti can deliver. you may have issues on older games that are single threaded but they are becoming rarer every day most games now need at least 2 threads so like i say you should have no issues with bottlenecking.
the 750ti takes 75w from the pci and if its not an oc version then you wont need an additional 6 pin.
but a minimum 450w psu would be a good investment for your system...
