Does anyone can help me? I'm just running a major updates on my windows 7 and after running the updates, it's started to get lag on playing games and after I check task manager, turns out the problem cause this was the CPU. It gets near 100%. I think it's a virus but after scanning, there's no viruses, trojans, neither malwares. And my attention pointed to the updates, because before running major updates it never get this high before.

What are your specs? And if your gaming you should expect the cpu to get near 100% load. What is the cpu usage at idle?

I would recommend restoring your system to and earlier point right before the update and see if the issue continues also what is your CPU?

Intel Core i3-3110k @2,4GHz 4CPUs
Nvidia GT820M
4GB DDR3 RAM @1600MHz

I play old games which doesn't take much performance problem.
The CPU Idle speed usually stucks between 45%-55%.
