Are you going to get a GPU? What GPU are you planning to get? I wouldn't be too sure about that PSU. And yes they are compatible. Also if you're going to get that CPU you might want to look into a aftermarket cooler such as a Noctua, Cooler Master, Corsair, etc, etc.

I already have a GPU (R9 280).

What's wrong with the PSU? It is 750W and has 4 MOLEX and a PCI-E (so I can use 2 of MOLEX and PCI-E for my GPU, one for CD-ROM). Not arguing, just asking.

Not sure if Novatech is too reliable? I might be wrong. There is a refund for it if anything goes wrong right? Check and see if there are any seasonic/XFX's around for the same price. Those are the best and most reliable PSU's around and they are very decently priced :)  Also if you're not rendering, using any heavily cpu intensive programs or using programs that require more than four cores an I5 4690k will give you the same performance.

I wouldn't run any computer with that very poor power supply.

No contest...... XFX 650W is the clear winner.
