I bought new PC 2 weeks ago and I keep get pop-up "display driver stopped responding and has recovered". Then I go to the store and change a new graphics card (same model).
But I still get that pop-up and it's very annoying :(
I've tried the driver in disk, driver 14.8 (latest), 14.7 beta, 14.4, 13.12, 13.6, 13.4 but it didn't work :(
(I uninstalled with DDU in safe mode)
I tried to create and change registry with TdrDelay but no hope.
Pls help me :( , I've been up set for 2 weeks
I'm using windows 8.1

Hmm, you had a graphics card replacement and still have the same issue and tried different drivers. Did you try reinstalling Windows as well or tried Windows 7 if you have a copy to test on to see if it would produce the same issue on there?

This error is very common even with nvidia GPUs. Problem is not with graphic card but problem is that windows automatically recovers itself from os hang. What happens is that when there is stutter and lag while gaming , and it is unresponsive for few microseconds due to lag , windows had safety feature that automatically exits game and turns off display and refreshes it this recovering from what it assumes was system hang. The solution is that you need to edit registry entries so that time detection had more seconds before it exits itself. Below is solution -
