Is it worth overclocking my computer

I just purchased the components for a PC I am going to build. I am wondering if I will see a big enough improvement in performance for it to be worth it to overclock. If so, which components (Ram, GPU or CPU). My components are as listed.

i5 4690k
16 gb AMD Radeon 1866 ram
MSI Gaming 7 Mobo
EVGA 780 FTW edition
Corsair H90 with 2 noctua pwm 140mm fans for push/pull
750w power supply
HAF X case
240GB SSD
2TB HD

If anything is worth overclocking, how much improvement on performance would it be? Should I just use the OC Genie settings? I have never overclocked a rig before, but bought parts to do so in case I decided to.

Any help would be appreciated, thank you.

Are you doing any sort of video editing, rendering, etc? As these parts are all high end current parts, you will likely not see any truly noticeable performance increase. You will be able to play most games maxed out at 1080p with this set up.

With that being said, you will definitely not hurt to OC if that is what you wish. Since you purchased a "K" variant CPU, you left yourself open to being able to OC in the future if you wish.

5-10%... and for the potential of having that, you bought a rig that is 15-20% more expensive, which could have been spent on making the machine even faster on stock.
