Hey!

I have a build project that I'm planning on doing. The only thing I'm missing now is the monitor. Don't know how many hz i should have etc. I want a 24" display with 1080p resolution and will mainly be using it for gaming. I'm looking for something within a $200 range.

Any suggestions??

Gaming - 144 Hz TN Panel - http://pcpartpicker.com/part/asus-monitor-vg248qe

If Photo / Video Editing is in the mix consider an IPS Panel

Pick something with a ppi as close to 96 as possible..... if you get far below that, the picture can appear "grainy" .... like when ya get too close to a big screen TV.

See table here:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dot_pitch

1920×1080 - 23.0" - 95.8
1920×1080 - 23.6" - 93.3
1920×1080 - 24.0" - 91.8
1920×1080 - 24.6" - 89.6
1920×1080 - 27.0" - 81.6
