Hello!!
I am looking into buying a new Alienware PC, What I need to know is witch one should I buy? The ailenware Alpha or the X51? I have a max budget of about $900. Now I was thinking, If I bought the Alienware X51 Could I replace the GTX 745 with a R9 270 or are there case problems or power supply problems, or is the GTX 745 good enough ? I would order the PC with a pre-installed R9 270 but the i5 model does not come with that pre-installed at Wall-mart, which is where I want to buy it. Now I would build PC but there is no Warranty, no financing (which I need) and it takes time. also do you know if the Lenovo website has financing? I like the Y40 It was on sale for only $750 and it has the same specs, but without financing I don't think I can buy it.
Thanks,
-Michael

alienware are just dell computers with pretty wrapping paper and an overpriced bow on them.

It does look like you can upgrade the card latter down the road, but I think you will be chasing your tail with upgrades. 99% of the time they only put a PSU in them for just whats installed. So upgrading the GPU will also take a PSU upgrade.

If you have to buy a pre-built just make sure it comes with a cd key so you can reinstall if you have a HDD crash.

Okay, could you give me a parts list? that would be quite nice. But again do you know if a the lenovo has like Monthly payment or something like that kind of like layaway in Walmart? that would be nice, I like the Y40 because it has good spec for the price, a GTX 850m and an i7 Processor. But ya please give me a parts list thanks!
