Problem with Alfa wireless adapter

Hi guys,

Today I finaly got my Alfa AWUS036NHA, but I have a problem with it.
When I connect it to any computer or any OS the LED starts blinking and it keeps connecting and disconnecting from the host computer.
I tried using other USB cables, so this won't be the problem.
Any kind of help will be nice.

You need to load the driver before you plug the device in. It loads some other driver it finds someplace that is not really compatible. You might be able to force it to update the driver other wise you are going to have to find a way to delete the device it created and start again.

This is a rather old technology card there are many better ones on the market for less money. These used to be popular for people who needed support in backtrack unix image.

Well the problem is, when I install the driver, I'm propted to insert the adapter. But when I insert it, it is going to connect and disconnect continously and it is not seen by the driver installer.
