Hello guys,

Just a quick question for opinions and if anyone has tried it on the 600 series with some good results.
But I was wondering how well a 2D Surround setup would go for the 770 2GB in SLI. I have a feeling I'm going to regret having a 2GB card... But money is slighty tight, and if I can get away with just adding another 2Gb 770 that be great.
Is it actually doable with decent FPS, especially having 16GB of CAS 9 RAM @ 2133Mhz?

Thanks,
~Noran

i think 2d surround should work for your card even without sli. any nvidia gpu 600 series and above can use 2d surround. all you need is three display ports on your gpu and it should work. correct me if i'm wrong though

I have no doubt it will work. I am aware that I can do it utilizing both DVI's and the DP on a single card. But at those resolutions, I'm sure most games will strain a single 770. Let alone the 2GB variant. Just wondering if SLI will help at all given the VRAM constraints.

3 1080p monitors you should be fine. 3 1440p monitors it might lag more than 3 1080p monitors(obviously). it depends on what your gpu clocks are and what game you're trying to run. also what cpu do you have?

also if you get an extra Gtx 770 it depends on how well the game utilizes a sli configuration. Battlefield 4 had issues with sli configurations i heard. sli 770's will definitely be faster than a single 770 because your doubling your Vram to 4 Gb

Yeah I intended on 1080p. Not really into 1440 yet. And I have a i7 2600k OC'd @ 4.2Ghz
