Asus notebook- Windows 8. Airplane mode is off, there is no physical wireless switch that I can find (the fn for the radio just toggles airplane mode on and off). When I go to network connections, it only lists the ethernet. It was working fine yesterday, but now I can't get the wireless to work.

Solution
You can download it from your laptop's support page on the Asus website and put it onto a USB, copy it to the laptop's desktop and double-click it.
Go into your Device Manager and look under Network Adapters. If you're adapter is listed, make sure it is enabled (right-click, enable, or click the radio button if it shows one) and that the driver is installed. If it's not showing, try reinstalling the driver from your support disk.

Insert the support CD in the laptop and use Windows Explorer to find a folder labeled "Drivers". You'll want the drivers labeled LAN and Wireless or WiFi. Double-click on them and they'll install themselves. Then reboot and check if the WiFi adapter shows up.
