Hi all,

I have originally Kingston HyperX 3K 120 GB SSD 2.5" on my PC. I'm now trying to replace this with larger Kingston 240 GB SSD drive, because I need more space. I used the included cloning software for cloning the smaller drive contents to larger one. The cloning was successful. I tried to boot the PC from the larger SSD drive with the both SSDs installed. I can boot the PC, but there were strange problems. Windows Explorer crashes continuously, about once in a minute. When I removed ths smaller SSD drive and booted the PC from the larger one, I got Windows screen saying "Preparing Windows..." and this ends to blank screen. So, boot failed.

Any idea, what is wrong? This is so strange, because everything seemed to go just fine. Thanks in advance for your replies!

Regards,
Jarmo

Thanks for the reply. I tried this, but it didn't work. I also tried another cloning sw, EaseUS Todo Backup, but it didn't work either. Today I tried to clone the drive again, and for some reason it seems to work now! This is really strange... I just cloned the drive, disconnected the smaller old drive and rebooted the PC. Now I don't have any problems with Explorer or anything else.
