A few days ago, for no apparent reason, both of my monitors became pixelated, as you can see in this screenshot. Here This was happening in chrome, on the desktop, and in every game I launched. I got it to go away in chrome by disabling hardware acceleration, which also made the desktop okay as well, but the problem persists in any game that I play. I can provide any relevant information to help solve this problem.

Have you tried completely uninstalling your drivers? This guide details the process.

Not sure if it's driver related, to me it sounds more like the GPU is artifacting due to heat maybe caused by some overclock. Check your GPU temps and if too high take a look at its cooling.

Are you sure that the GPU isn't overheating?
If it isn't that, you can see if the latest drivers have any issues.

The fact that it stopped after disabling hardware acceleration struck me as a software issue. It is akin to artifacts that occur when you have a bad card or an unstable overclock. GPUs are becoming so troublesome and quality control is going amok. I'm tempted to start a thread to be stickied that documents every common GPU artifact/malfunction and it's cause as well as the solution.
