So has anyone come across an SSD showing the wrong gb data?

I have 2 patriat Torx drive 64gb that are showing 128gb. They were part of a 6 SSD 64gb RAID 0 system in 2010-2011, but broke up the drives and just rediscovered these 2 drives and they are not reading right.

They have no data on them, and I just plugged them in and noticed they are reading wrong. I tried to reformat them, and it just freezes.

Before I contact Patriot, I was wondering if anyone else has come across this.

Don't know a program for it unforunately. I would think something got messed up with the firmware, maybe if you break them up and try a firmware update in a non-raid setting then reconnect them in RAID. Might work.

That's the interesting thing is the raid was broken years ago, I just found the drives again and plugged them in.

I was just wondering if anyone has seen this before. They have not had power to them for at-least 2 years, I was thinking maybe the firmware is stuck and not allowing to see each disk as individuals.

I plugged them into another setup and ran into the BIOS but they do not see the drives at all, but if I plug them individually in my win 8.1 build they are seen, but as 128's and not 64's... It is really interesting.

I have tried to format/image the drives and they just revert back to 128...

I'll be contacting Patriot about the drives, but I thought it would be a neat discussion for the great minds of Tom's...
