I am using an acer aspire v7, and decided to do a factory reset of the computer. Everything seemed to go fine, but afterwards my 750gb hard drive showed a maximum size of only 400gb. I tried to repartition the drive but it seems that the missing 200gb are simply not detected at all. I would greatly appreciate any help. Thanks.

Try using easeus partition master, you can get a free version online and it's really useful when messing with partitions and remerging unformatted space back into your main partition etc...

You need to determine whether the problem is physical or logical. What size is reported by BIOS and/or CrystalDiskInfo?
