Alright, Title says it all. I am having a serious overheating issues with CPU temps that tend to stay around 57 degrees and GPU temps that tend to hit over 70 whilst playing games.

Is there any way to get my PC back to normal tempatures?

My PC =

GPU - Powercolor AMD Radeon 6970
CPU - AMD Phenom II X6 1050T
Motherboard - Gigabyte GA-78LMT-S2P (Socket M2)
Case - Gigabyte GZ-G2 Gaming Case
CPU Cooler - Arctic Freezer i30

Edit:// A friend of mine said that this may be caused due to my thermal paste being too old, if this is the case then do I have to change GPU thermal paste also?

FYI your cpu is rated at 55c to 62c.
Your gpu is rated at I believe 104c though you wouldn't want to run at that temp too long.

So what to do? It are ok temperatures though not great ofc. You could check if there is enough airflow in your case and remove the dust if you didn't already. Be carefull though with removing the dust, don't just use a vacuum, look for guides online.

did your overclock any hardware.yes it can help reduce temperaatures replacing thermalpaste.lowering settings in a game helps reduce temperatures for now.im not familiar with your gpu,but i guess there is some software rise the fan speed on your gpu and make sure there is no dust inside pc case.

I have overclocked before using AMD Catalyst Center but then I declocked it but this was after I started having issues since I thought it might help. I have already clocked fan speeds at 65% due to the gpu reaching levels such as 76 degrees Celsius, even when I put the fan speeds up I see no difference in the temperature.

Before this issue started happening (12th August) I used to play games maxed out such as Battlefield and reach GPU levels of 61, now when I max it out it starts to reach levels between 68-74. It was never this hot before.
