Hello, i have recently recieved the money to purchase a GTX 750 Ti Graphics Card with 2GB of memory, and i would like some tips on installing it.

First off, my pc. My pc right now is a stock HP Pavilion 500-214 Desktop with the default

So, how would one go about getting the default hp bios to recognize this card? Would i have to just plug it in and go, or would i be buying myself a headache? Any help would be appreciated, as i plan on buying this soon. Thanks!

You would just plug and go, but I would get another psu as well, as that 300w may struggle if you get a 750ti which requires additional pcie power connectors.
If you can find a 750ti without additional power connectors, then it should work perfectly.

Should be very simple.

It will go in the top PCI-E slot. There will likely be a number of screws or some kind of locking mechanism on the case covering the slots in the back. Remove the screw or unlock the mechanism, remove the cover for the top slot. Drop the card in place make sure it lines up with the top PCI-E slot and the slot on the back of the case and then push down on both sides of the card. The metal pins should be non visible and usually there is a small lock at the back of the PCI-E slot that should latch on to the card. Put the screw back in the slot to hold the card in place. Plug in your video input to the inputs on the new card and away you go!

The 750Ti doesn't require any external power so you don't have to worry about any other connectors like on some cards.
