my desktop feels quite warm to the touch when playing skyrim

Is this normal? Sorry if I sound stupid but I've never had a desktop before.

I'm running skyrim on ultra

Intel i5 4690k
GTX 770
8gb ram

Desktop? Like, the case? I'd download some CPU and GPU monitoring tools and report some numbers and we can help you out more.

I use a program called coretemp to monitor my cpu heat. It's free and real easy to set up.

Download HWMonitor by CPUID http://download.cnet.com/HWMonitor/3000-2094_4-10793486... to check Voltage and temps. Also what case do you have, maybe ur not getting enough airflow into the system.

Alright I booted it up with the core monitor program you suggested. I'll run it for a bit and run off some numbers

Ok, core 0 is around 38. Core 1 is the most at 41. Core 2 is 37 and core 3 is 36. All degrees

Are those too hot? I could go into my bios and get a temp too.

Those are good temps, there's no need to worry :D  Core 1 is always the highest temp since its the most used one
