I just booted my computer through BIOS to load Windows 7 on my SSD. When it got to the log in screen, my keyboard and mouse wouldn't work. I tried unplugging and different ports, neither solution worked. I also tried rebooting several times and still nothing. I am currently running an earlier backup through my external HDD and everything works with no problem.

I should also note that before this happened I was about to install Windows 8.1 to dual boot with 7. I had downloaded Windows 8.1 onto a USB that I then booted from BIOS in order to install it. During the process of installing, I accidentally closed out of the installation and restarted my PC. That was when I booted Windows 7 from my SSD. I am thinking that during the installation, I must have messed something up perhaps drivers wise that effected my USB devices when I tried to reboot again. I just don't know what it could be, any advice? Or possible solutions?

Ok use the on screen kb?
The drivers sound like they're horked up.
Ya umm good luck with this one you might have to go out and get a brand name Logitech mouse (the system will install the drivers if you get some noname brand it might use the same driver) just to repair this.
