Hey guys, I had a corsair CX 750M which got fried :/ so now im replacing it with cooler master G 750M, and i did alot of work on cable managment so i really dont wanna go through that again :D

Solution
You have to use the cables that come with the unit. The corsair and cooler master cables are likely wired differently which can result in shorts and fires. Always use the provided cables.

you can use them actually though i would not recommend it as sometimes they dont match with each other but if they fits you will be fine i had done that in the past.

Almost all PSU manufacturers use Mini-Fit Jr connectors on the PSU side so almost all modular cables will plug into a different PSU, there is no spec on how they are key'd or if they are keyed so going with the "if it fits its fine" technique for an unspec'd and undocumented connection is a bold move.....
