Hi is just bought myself a new gaming PC with the gtx 770 twin frozr in a Coolermaster K380 Case as you may wonder becouse its a post about temperatures.
I was testing out my PC with crysis warhead on ultra settings with full HD and 16qx anti alaising.
Went smooth nice solid 50 fps but the GPU just hits 80 degrees celcius. I know my card can handle it but for how long will it?
Can i play for like 3 hours straight with the card on 80-85 degrees celcius??
Really need your opinion guys dont wanna ruin my new pc in a few weeks :S

80-85 degrees Celsius is nothing to worry about, even for longer periods of time.

The maximum safe temperature for your card is 98 degrees, as long as you don't hit that and you don't experience throttling you're good to go!

Oke thank you but it just goes against my feelings xD becouse the gpu almost hits temps that will boil water haha. And does maxing out the fan speed any harm on short ore long term with msi afterburner??

Whilst 80-85C is fine for your GPU it is 15C higher than what it should be for that card. My 680 Twin Frozr reached about 65C max under full load in a fairly low airflow case.

You'd be surprised at the temperatures some components can withstand!

I wouldn't touch fan control, most cooling units (including the Twin Frozr) do a good job of speeding up the fans when it's necessary. Putting the fans on max speed all the time will increase wear and tear on the fans (a little bit anyway) and it's noisy when it really doesn't need to be. Your temps also don't warrant it.

If you want to get your temps down a little, try cleaning out the heatsink and fan compartment and make sure you have good airflow in your case.
