Hard Drive making weird sounds

Solution
Hey noahdutch. If I were you I'd go with junkeymonkey and volcanoscout's advice. You should back up your important data as soon as you can and RMA. I can't quite hear it very clearly, but it's better to be on the safe side.
Here's a link on the subject which might be of use: http://wdc.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/568/

Hope that helps. Let me know if you have any questions.
Good luck with your drive.

Try downloading and running Seagate Sea Tools (doesn't matter what brand your HDD is) and running the health tests. Might also want to make sure to back up your drive and make sure to keep the backup current - weird sounds coming from a hard drive is rarely an indicator of a healthy drive.
