So I hadn't upgraded my GPU in a couple of years, still getting good performance out of my ASUS 560ti. So the other day I'm playing Borderlands, and my rig shuts off. Odd. I restart, as soon as the game starts it shuts off again. I open it up, and notice that one fan is not spinning. No problem Had my eye on a OC'd GTX 760 for a little while.

I get it in, install, and update driver. Same thing. As soon as the game starts, it quits. CPU is running cool. Thinking maybe the PSU is going? 600 watt PSU. Also the 760 is the EVGA one with the 8pin and 6 pin power connector. Both of which my PSU has. IDK, all help is appreciated.

This usually happens when the PSU is not powerful enough to power everything while gaming, but yours should be good...

Precisely correct. That was my thinking. I don't have a PSU tester anymore. Lost it in a move some years back. I knew I should have replaced it. DRAT! Well, I'm running memtest86 now on the off chance it's a bad stick of RAM. But seeing as how I have the same thing happening with a brand new card, that I have the correct type of PSU for, and have enough wattage. I know it's not a problem with the GPU, and the new fans both spin beautifully.
