A friend of mine has tasked me with the mission of building him a ultra portable/ultra small lan box with a budget of $800. Now, I've bought the optical drive, hard drives, a SSD, keyboard, ram, Win 7 Home Premium, and a USB gaming headset, leaving $367.08 left for the motherboard, graphics card, processor and power supply. That sounds like a really tight fit but at least he's provided me with a case, his Cooler Master Elite 120 Advanced he used to use as a movie/TV box. Its an ITX, which easily takes any FX processors out of the equation on the account that there aren't any AM3+ ITX boards. Now, I can probably source a good used graphics card from a buddy for about $150 but that only leaves $247 the mobo, cpu and psu.

Any suggestions for those last three items?

Why did you buy all of that before the important parts?

Thanks, I'll go with that second set of parts since it has a newer board with intel's 9 series chipset.
