Is this a good case airflow setup?

Hi, i'm currently building my first rig and was a little unsure about case airflow. The attached pictures show my current setup without the cpu and gpu installed yet (in the mail lol). The case as you can see is an old hp case that I've stripped just because I think it's hilarious. As far as case fans go, there's one chasis fan in the back and one cpu fan in the front. Both are the same size, but the one in front is a cpu fan taken off of an old comps heatsink. I plan to have that cpu fan and the actual cpu fan run off of a splitter from the mobo cpu fan pin. I've read a little about airflow and fan placement but not a lot. I placed the front cpu fan on the bottom of the case and it should blow air towards the gpu. My question: Is this setup okay? I imagine on idle the case will have negative airflow, but when under load the front cpu fan should rev up making the airflow kind of neutral? The case has two huge vents in the front that can open or close but which is the better position? Also i've heard about dust being a real nuisance, and was wondering if i should cover any openings with dust covers. The only thing is, those two vents might be hard to cover lol. Anyway, sorry for the rambling, but any help is 200% appreciated.

The pics are kinda small and w/o knowing what is in the case, it i impossible to know what the heating load will be. Just because it had a previous life as a CPU cooler fan, you are now using it as a case fan....as such, I wouldn't run it off a CPU header.

Noted, I suppose leave the extra cpu fan unplugged until i have a confident solution. I never really researched this idea, so maybe I should be a little more careful.. Also, to give more info the cpu will be a fx 6300, gpu will be r7 260x, mobo is asus m5A78l-m lx plus. Thank you

Edit: Well, I haven't found any technical information about the mobo's cpu header power output so I might just wing it and see how it goes. Obviously i'll try it after i install the os and drivers and all that jive. I'm just going to post back maybe next week to show if I've fried anything. I know this isn't really a great idea but uh, fuk it.
