From that other computer you downloaded the iso from, does that have a optical drive? If so, then copy the drivers from your motherboard CD to the Win7 flash drive. when you get up to the error, click browse and install the SATA controller driver for motherboard. Windows 8 doesn't have to do this as it has about most of the SATA controller drivers.
Go into bios and enable legacy boot.

How do i install the driver without windows? Any chance you could point me in the right direction as i dont know what driver you mean.

So have you installed Windows XP/older by yourself? If so, at the beginning of the text setup (blue screen with Windows Setup, and white bar at the bottom) it would say "Press F6 if you want to specify a mass storage driver". That is the origin of the F6 Floppy. So in Windows Vista/7/8 the drivers can be loaded during installations, at the partitioning step by stepping Load Driver and whatever else.

You need to be more clear as to what USB your installing from, is it a USB optical drive or a USB flash drive?
If this was your very first build, then it would be impossible to copy the files from the Win8 disc to the USB flash when you don't even have a optical drive in the first place. And even if you did, it's also impossible to do so when there is no OS installed.
If it's a USB optical drive, then try a different USB port. If it's a USB flash drive, then you must have access to a optical drive, take that optical drive and connect to your new build and use that for the install.
USB flash drive don't just boot, it must be prepared first for it to work as a bootable drive.
Your bios if it's UEFI enabled, then your HDD must be on the UEFI boot list for the OS to see as a acceptable boot devices. If it's not on that UEFI boot list then Windows 8 install will also give you that error.

Im booting from a usb flash drive as i have no optical drive in my build.
I downloaded the iso file from windows and made the file bootable using windows 7 usb tool.
