I just got a Asus HD 7870 from newegg to replace my old GTX 275. I absolutely can't get it to work. I uninstalled all the NVIDEA drivers and installed the Catalyst driver from the AMD website. The Motherboard has onboard nvidea, but the bios is set to PCIe as primary graphics. The new card will output the bios screen. Output the windows 8.1 splash screen, but then goes black at the windows login screen (Oddly, you can see occasional flashes of the ethernet connected icon for a split second, and you can see the mouse cursor is you roll it around, but otherwise the screen is completely black).

I've never went from nvidea to radeon, so maybe I'm missing something critical here. I sure hope so because I am out of ideas. Also, I know this can work because I have seen someone else with the MB GPU combo
