Recently my fan has been becoming extremely loud because my GPU temps have been increasing for some strange reason. I'll open a stream and the fan speed will have to increase. I'll play Hearthstone and if the fan speed % isn't set to about 50% or so, it'll be about 80-90 degrees.
I have checked both fans while the computer has been running and they're both spinning just fine it seems. All other fans are spinning as well. I've moved wires around the increase air flow but no luck. Do you really think dust/hair/dirt would cause the GPU to increase this much or do you think my GPU may be busted?

Probably within the last 5 months? Can't put an exact date on it but I'm getting canned air tomorrow.

With 6 desktops and 4 lappies here, If I use canned air, I'd have paid for 3 of these already :)

As it is I already had one

So would you say the lack of cleaning is the actual problem?

What was it that Sherlock Holmes said ?....

Quote:
Eliminate all other factors, and the one which remains must be the truth.

Increased Load
Increased Ambient Temp (Seasonal)
Decreased GFX Card Fan Speed
Decreased Heat Transfer Due to Dust or Other Factors
Decreased Case Ventilation
Dislodged Heat Sink / TIM

Did I leave anything out ? looking at what you have already ruled out, I;'d say dust is moist likely culprit. Weather still in the mix.

Cleaned out the graphics card thoroughly today and the span still speeds itself up during fullscreen livestreams or hearthstone alone. Im not sure what else I can possibly do to be honest.
