It only has an 80+ Bronze certification, where as the Rosewill has a higher efficiency of 80+ Gold.

Buying a PSU is more than just wattage.

Yes, but you realize that even with 80+Bronze the PSU will still run properly, you wont notice a difference if you get a 80+Gold. Though if you get a higher wattage PSU, you have room to do some upgrades.

I never said it would be noticeable, it'll just cut down his electricity bill lolz. Anyway, it's up to OP to he decides whether or not he wants more wattage for future upgrades, or a kickass PSU for the build he's throwing together now.

I've not heard of "Johnny Guru" until now, and I really don't care. lel

However for the sake of this conversation, I decided to do a quick Google search to see if they happened to have rated Rosewill's PSU, and low and BEHOLD:

http://www.jonnyguru.com/modules.php?name=NDReviews&op=...

A 9.1 so HAH. (Please note that the wattage was not taken into consideration whilst Johnny Guru rated the PSU.)

Good day sir.

The EVGA 750B2 is also solid budget PSU, there is nothing wrong with this PSU except for some minor defects which all PSU have since they are not made any angels. I suggested this PSU you because it was the same price as the rosewill one with more wattage, and plus though it says 80+bronze it performs like 80+ silver as reviewed by Johnny guru.

The capstone 650 is a solid budget PSU, oh and it performs like an 80+ Gold as reviewed by Johnny guru. (lel)

If you believe you're going to be upgrading your build often, and will need more wattage than 650 watts, go ahead and buy this PSU:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

It actually comes out to be $5 cheaper than the EVGA 750B2 after rebates, has a higher efficiency, and performs better than EVGA's 750B2. :)

It doesnt come out cheaper than EVGA 750B2, the 750B2 is $69.99 after rebate, idk what ur reading. and plus its not even modular like the 750B2, so hes going to have to do deal with those pesky useless cables

Regardless what brand you choose never hinder yourself with low wattage. Think future proofing when building a PC and purchase something with more wattage. I have my evga 1300 watt 80+gold and so far it's been a better psu than my corsair. I also love evga products so maybe I'm a bit biased but rosewill makes good psu's from what I have read too. Just remember high wattage doesn't make a psu good but neither does a 80+ anything rating. As sr has said tons of times on psu's it's about the components inside that make it good like the capacitors. Both of those psu's would be a fine choice evga or rosewill.

thanks everyone for the help! i've decided to use the evga 750B1 supernova power supply. i would probably choose a corsair power supply with 80+ gold, but im buying this build from cyberpowerpc and if i were to get a corsair power supply with enough wattage to power the pc, it would go way over my price range. it would be helpful if i could get some feedback about the psu im buying and if it will be a reliable and long lasting power supply
