So I used to start up medal of honor Allied assault on two different computers and connect them to the same server so a friend and I could play side by side, we did this as recently as mid-may 2014. Back home now, I start up both computers and try connecting one to an internet server. Open the server list and lo and behold nothing is listed, doesn't even make a load effort. Anybody have an idea what is going on? I know gamespy shut down a while back, but it worked for a while after gamespy shutdown, so why not now?

I thought gamespy recently drop support for it? there are others trying to pick up the slack. this is one of the very few sites that still have some activity centered round this game. perhaps you can get your needed questions answered there?.........http://www.modtheater.com/............. you can also read through the forums. lots of stuff/some map downloads ( some new stuff ) a few people trying to turn it around.
now, also, there was this thing we used to do a long time ago. sit in a room with 6 or 8 or 10 people and join the same server. some admins thought we were over taking the server ( we weren't, we just played ) and they did something to slow down and at times stop it so only one from an ip address could reach any given server at the same time.
you can try opening the control panel and try typing the ip address for the server in manually on both machines.... back where you usually select connect to server....
