Hey, so I just built a new PC and tried to connect it to my HDTV, but if the screen resolution or an ingame resolution goes above 1024x768the display turns off, and I'm left with a message saying no display detected. I have a Asus Z97 MB, with an I7, 8 GB of ram and a Nvidia GTX780 TI ( designed for asus). I'm using a DVI-I to VGA(i'm going to the VGA because, even though the TV has a HDMI spot, the edge of the screen gets cut off. So I use the PC input, the VGA.)
Is there a way to either increase the resolution of the PC input or change the resolution of the HDMI input.
