That's obvious. I just want to know why somebody posted a dinosaur NVIDIA as an NVIDIA Radeon 7990.. and to ice the cake, $3,500.. LOL

The price? That's pretty real, you can find some REALLY old Quadro cards that are still for sale for thousands.(mostly because no one buys them)

That particular card? Looks fake to me. That's an AGP card shown.

Edit: oh i see you're aware of that. To answer your question: Swindlers will try anything!

They don't know and don't care. All they know is that they'll make a nice profit if and when they sell one.

Really? The Tesla is only a few thousand. That's insanity.

Ancient designer card-gen, then?

Ah, the 7990 is just two old 7970's on one GPU, so I see your point. Glad I have two 290X's, at one point in time I considered the 8990 (Dell's refurbished 7990 BS card)

Its two 7970s on a single PCB, so its certainly strong, but its been replaced already.
As for the card in the picture, its not even PCI.

Edit, yeah 2x290xs are almost identical to a 295x2, the card that replaced the 7990.

What replaced the 7990? The 290X? I figured it was in it's own little category. The 295X2 is the new 7990 IMO.

Edit: I love how me and you edit at the same time.

It just blew me away when I saw that listed for almost four grand. What really made me laugh was NVIDIA and Radeon in the same sentence.

You could waste less on a GTX Titan Z. Why are two Titans cheaper than a Titan Z when the Titan Z is two downclocked Titans? Never got that. It's not water cooled factory like the 295X2. Ah, prices.

Either they have no idea what they're selling or they're selling overpriced cards with the wrong picture. Either way, Memory4Less (Clearly 300% markups is less) will never get a cent from me.

This one has to be my favorite. An LGA 939 motherboard made by ASUS NVIDIA that also supports athlon CPUs. Finally a motherboard that lets me upgrade my athlon to an i7. I've been waiting on one of these for a while.

Well, they are illegally advertising old products as newer ones. False advertising alone could do it. Not to mention the insane mark-up prices, but that's legal.

Actually it was Socket 939 (the CPU had pins), LGA is an Intel socket that for a CPU that doesn't have any pins.

I see this kind of junk listings on eBay all the time. Selling junk worth $100 at a listing pric of $1000's. I asked on time and they repplied "that's what we sell it for". It's no mistake, looking for third world suckers I guess. Cruel.

It is serious. It is called Legacy Pricing. This is a little extreme. But believe it or not they may have already sold some or will sell some. Not to the regular user but to the one who wants one of these and doesn't care about Price. It is all legal and we cannot do a thing about it. Just do not buy it.

Start collecting your old graphics cards everyone! I'll start with my nVidia FX 5200 (winfast somthing). I hope it still works. I might sell it for a starting price of 1000.

I have a Radeon 7770. It's in between ancient and new so I could probably get a solid $2,000 out of it. LOL

I wonder how much an R9 295x2 would go for on that website. Like a cool million?

I think 3000 dollars for a Radeon 7770 is more reasonable. Selling it to someone for 2000 would be like a steal for them xD

I used to have a GTX 460... I don't have it anymore, but the box is still sitting in a corner somewhere and that's surely worth a few thousand.

How much do you guys think I could get out of my PNY GTX 780Ti Enthusiast Edition OC (Dual fan aftermarket cooler) boxes? Must be worth at LEAST a cool $5,000.

I got four 2GB 1,600mhz DDR3 Dell RAM sticks as well, I'd say $200 a pop is reasonable.

Oh! And I have a broken HDMI cable and a HP 16 inch monitor. I'd guess about $1,000 for the both.

Wow if you can sell your broken hdmi cable for a grand then I should easily be able to sell my broken cd player for 1500 bucks. Am I correct or is 1500 a little under priced for such a cutting edge piece of hardware?

Some of the old graphic cards are still used in coin operated games and they are rare, hence maybe the price.
Some of them work with specific cards as well.

Depending on the size, try selling as the Apple Watch as well, with the customizable options, you can get like 700, 7000 on that site.

Take a GTX 280 and sharpie in another 2 and sell it as the Geforce GTX 2280 Uberpwnf'sh-up Edition. 30,000mhz core clock and 3240494140mhz memory, 3TB vRAM. Bundle it with a 500,000w power supply and 800GB's of RAM, Oh, and a 50Ghz 20-core processor (Just use anything shaped like a square for the processor, any large metallic object for the PSU, RAM sticks with sharpied labels and such), then top it off with a 9999TB SDD. Asking price? One Billion USD. No, THREE Billion.
