Ethernet LAN connection

Hi I purchased an android TV box recently. Works fine with wireless connection. But when I connected the device directly via LAV cable to the port on the wall no internet connection is seen. Please help how I should go about resolving this.

Do you have a laptop? You can try testing to see if the internet connection will work with a laptop via Ethernet cable. Also, try a different Ethernet cable possibly but usually the cables themselves aren't the issue.

You should look into your Android settings for that TV box and see if you can tinker around with the LAN settings. Let us know how it goes.
