If anybody can recommend the best headset for $150 or less. I would like something that would be amazing for gaming, but i do not really want a mic attached, i already have a dedicated mic. Should I go sennheiser? if so what model? what is the best sound quality, that would be excellent for gaming, music, youtube, movies, and tv shows. Thanks for the help.

Honestly the best best best quality headset (sound&build) you're going to get in that price range by far (it's a little over)

Or to cut some cost, get the previous model.

If you can't stretch your budget a tad more (which i highly recommend you save for to do).
These sennheiser's are also a pretty solid headset :)

I suggest the Audio-Technica ATH-M50x. These actually are going for $170, but the additional $20 gives you the option of three detachable cables (9.8' straight, 9.8' coiled, 3.9' straight). If this isn't important to you, the ATH-M50 (notice the missing "x") is virtually the same headphone and goes for around $130. For the money, I think it's hard to find a better over all headphone with well rounded sonics (high/mid/low range).

Another personally favorite and close second to the Audio-Technica model for me is the Sennheiser HD 380 Pro. These phones go to 8 Hz giving them real presence when you crave deep, defined bass. Hope this helps.
