Does this motherboard support the i7-4790K?

I'm going to be buying an i7-4790K pretty soon so i was looking at the mb options. I'm coming from AMD and that's really all I've used in any of my builds for the past 5 years so i don't know much about intel. Anyway, i was wondering if this motherboard supports the i7 i'm buying. I know it says it supports i7 at the bottom of the page but i'm not sure if that means it supports this cpu since it's so new. Thanks in advance guys.

I provide a brief description for what motherboard suits the i7-4790K.

Intel 4th Gen CPU require a LGA1150 socket. Which the motherboard you listed has. But then there is the Haswell Refresh CPU, still a 4th Gen CPU. But a H97 or Z97 is recommended.

And since you also have an unclocked CPU and a Haswell Refresh CPU, then a Z97 is recommended. Do you have a budget? I may be able to find you. :)

thanks! around $100 - $120 would be preferred, i'm already kind of stretching my budget with the cpu but i really need something stronger in the single thread department since i play a lot of mmo's that are very cpu dependent.

i might go for the Z97. I had to update my bios a couple of years ago and it was not a pleasant experience to say the least lol
