I made my own custom Revolt and just recently my video card has been failing and etc...so first I do all I can which is reinstall drivers etc... and nothing works. At times when I play games like League Of Legends it runs smooth then sometimes randomly it would freeze, black screen, and unfreeze or even flat out crash. I asked iBuyPower and they say that it could be the video card thats defective and I will have to send them back the defective card and they will send me a new one. But after doing some research looks like this graphics card requires a 650w PSU? If I'm not mistaken and the maximum a Revolt can fit is a 500w PSU...i dont even know why ibuypower even makes this a workable build....Either way I'm sending them back this card and they are going to give me a new one that hopefully isnt defective but it makes me wonder if its the PSU thats failing to give it the power it needs. Here are my computer specs and I didnt even want this MSI Gtx770 it was just some labor day free upgrade from the original nividia gtx 770.

That makes no sense that they would make this a build. The 770 requires atleast 600w PSU, Preferably a 650-750w. I would call them out on that because it says directly on their website the minimum power req's. I'm not sure how they could miss this, especially being "Computer specialists".

The crashing is due to under-power.

I'd like to say its my fault aswell for choosing the gtx770 without knowing...but I'm not that great with computers and thats the reason why I was making the build on their site and gtx770 was an option so I went with it blindly. But I'm also disappointed at ibuypower for giving the gtx770 as an option for such a computer that its maximum psu is 500 watts.

I agree 500W is not enough for that system. One thing you can try to do to test this is to underclock your video card and see if the crashes stops (meaning it the card won't be using as much power as it could when working 100%).
But throw that system back in their face and demand a better PSU.

I'd like to ask if I were to underclock it via MSI AfterBurner what do I put each setting at. That would be very helpful for me.

Still shouldn't be an option to choose the 770 when you've already installed a 500 watt PSU. But just call them up and see if you can return the psu in exchange for a better and pay the price differences. A PSU is not difficult to install yourself.

Thats the problem...for the Revolt 500w PSU is the max. I would've upgraded the PSU if I could've.
