Hello to everyoine,a friend gave me that PC (http://www.acerdirect.co.uk/Acer_Aspire_X3950_Core_i3-530_Desktop_PC_PV.SE6E2.005/version.asp) but with another CPu and GPU anyway. I found out that the chip in motherboard is the Intel H57 and supports PCIe x16 2.0. I would like to ask if it's possible to work with a GPU PCIe x16 3.0 and if it will be necessary a BIOS update for that.
That PC was bought in 2011.

I am just asking because in my main PC i had a FOxconn H61MXV with PCIe x16 2.0 and my new GPU POwercolor r7 250x didnt work.... and i bought a new motherboard. Maybe any BIOs update for my acer to work with PCIe x16 3.0 or it might work normally? Cause some ppl said to me that a BIOS update in foxconn might work with the Powercolor GPU.
