Yesterday i bought 2x4 GB DDR3 Corsair Vengeance. And after installing both -

1. PC didnt boot. Fixed that by resetting bios and windows.
2. Now frequently receiving blue screen error.
3. And all of a sudden my pc is getting hanged.

My mobo is "Asrock h55m-le" Processor Core i3 540"

Btw I also did checked those rams by memtest 86+ but no error was found.

So is my ram faulty or my mobo or the slots?

Hi. Good news is: nothing may be faulty. It may be the RAM timings. Have you checked them? Also what speed and voltages are they supposed to run at?

I have corsairs vengeance 2x4GB @ 1600Mhz, which was at the wrong settings when i installed them (too low speed and voltage) I had a lot of boot problems.

What i did was that i reset the CMOS (take out the little battery on the motherboard and put it in after 10 seconds). This resets all BIOS settings to default. Then i went into the BIOS, and set up an XMP profile with the correct timings, speed and voltages. This info can be found on the corsair site and on the RAM itself.

Try this and report back.

You might need to flash the motherboard BIOS. Even those new RAM chips can become incompatible for the current outdated motherboard BIOS version.
