Is it Compatible? I have i5 2500K 3.30 GHz ~ 3.6 GHz. Award Modular Bios v6.00PG. 16 GB Ram MoBo and 1 PCE 2 GFX slot. Will it work on my Gigabyte GA-H61M-D2H MoBo [v 1.0] and if so how much PSU needed. [Presently have 500-550 PSU. need check].Also if another MoBo needed which is economically lower best MoBo for same?

The CPU is LGA1155. The motherboard is also LGA1155 - so they will work together. But k suffix Intel CPUs are usually mounted on Z motherboards (eg Z77) so that you can then overclock the cpu as they were designed to do.

See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/LGA_1155

For a GTX 680, you'd need a good quality 550+W power supply - from tiers 1, 2a or 2b of http://www.tomshardware.com/answers/id-1804779/power-supply-unit-tier-list.html. The GTX 660 would need at least 430W. Either card will fit and work on the Gigabyte motherboard
