DUal Core Pentium 4.5 Ghz wont even equal to DUal core hyperthreaded. we live in 2014 which is most program use multithreaded instead of core + core process.

The overclocked Pentium is roughly equivalent to an I3, which is, again, roughly equal to the "quad-core" (dual-module) offerings from AMD.

Game mostly only use 2-3 thread so pentium would win. you dint tell if you asked for gaming.

It gets fairly close to the gaming performance of a Core i3, which would also put it approximately in line with an FX-6300. There are no true quad-cores in that performance bracket, and the G3258 generally doesn't catch up to i5's. I'd have to guess it would also do fairly well against FX-83xx's in most games.

thanks everyone for the replies so from what I understood my cpu @ 4.5 id be pretty damn close to the amd fx series and pretty much the same as the i3's
