Hello everyone.
I am building a system for a friend. His budget is around 17.000 DKR which is like 3.000$. I have a system in my head which is like 2.800$ right now. I know the prices you find will be lower but this gives you an idea of how much it is in Denmark.
CPU: i7 5820k
MB: X99 Gaming 7
RAM: Crucial DDR4 16GB
PSU: Corsair RM850
GPU: MSI GeForce 780 in SLI
Case: In Win GRone Big Tower Black
SSD: Corsair Force Series LS 120 GB
HDD: Seagate Barracuda 2TB

There is no cooler yet because there aren't anyone for the new 2011-3 socket. But else I was thinking Corsair H100i. He will be mostly gaming on it. If you can recommend a screen that would be great.
Any and all help is appreciated!

Uhh looks sexy!
I just got some minor stuff to add. The reason I choose the MB and RAM was because I could get it in a bundle. Which is pretty cheap. I didn't choose the ligthning 780 because their are almost the cost of a 780 ti in Denmark. Will there really be such a big difference? :)

EDIT: The price of a 780 msi lightning isn't that much more from a normal 780.

Got a quick question, will the 5820k actually be much of an improvement instead of a 4790k? I can get a 4790k bundle for around 350$ less. In that bundle I will get a Z97 Gaming 5 MB, Crucial DDR3 1600Mhz 16GB.
And what about "Future Proofing"? Will the 5820k have more "Future Proofing"?

For just a gaming build I'd go for the 4790K, a Z97 motherboard, and DDR3 ram. You'll see no performance increase stepping up to the X99 platform. I don't see a 5820 being much more "future proof" over a 4790K. Now this is all as a gaming machine. If the person is planning on doing serious video editing or 3d modelling then I see a case for it or even if DDR4 drops down to a reasonable price. As of right now though the 4790K is hand down a better choice for a gaming system.

Okay thanks, I will then chose the 4790K. :)
More money to buy awesome stuff!!!

Okay so here is what I am recommending for my friend.
We are going for a orange build.

CPU/MB/RAM/GPU: i7 4790K/ASUS Z97-AR/Crucial DDR3 BallistiX 1600Mhz 16GB/ZOTAC 780 3GB OC Triple Silencer 1338,19$ (It's a bundle)

CPU Cooler: Corsair H100i 137,21$ If he can get one with orange tubing or orange liquid so see trough tubes that would be awesome!!

GPU: ZOTAC 780 3GB OC Triple Silencer 625,18$

PSU: Cooler Master V1000 246,07$

HDD: Seagate Barracuda 2TB 86,78$

SSD: Samsung 840 EVO 120 GB 98,95$

Case: NXZT H410 Ltd Edition Black/Orange 138,95$

All added up 2671,34$

I'll probably also add some orange LED's.
Maybe I'll change the 780 to ti's that depends on if my friend want's a monitor in the budget.

I heard the next generation of NVIDIA desktop GPUs was going to be the 9XX, and the 8XX were mobile only, like AMD did with the current generation Radeons. Although I'm not sure how accurate my sources are on this.

And sure the PSU is expensive but it is Platinum rated where the Seasonic you linked to is only Bronze rated. I'd much rather have the extra efficiency wouldn't you agree?

Yeah I completely agree there. I really want to upgrade my rig to X99 and DDR4 but the cost is keeping me away at the moment. I'm fine with the 3570K as it is right now.
