Can't install Windows 7.

I bought a new PC (i know that it is better to build pc yourself but there was very good pc for low price. And it came with Linux. You can browse the internet and download Steam and play but not all library so i thought i will install Windows 7. I got Windows. Put it in. I go in to the bios put it to 1st read disc and then read hdd. So i saved and reset PC. And it didnt showed to press anything he just thinks and starts Linux. Tried one more time and nothing. Thanks for help.

What I would do: I would get an HDD and install it, remove the one with Linux on it. That way, if I ever need that original HDD inside, I would just re-insert it.
Make sure that the DVD drive you're selecting for boot is the one you're using with the Windows disk (in case there's more than one drive available).
Finally, make sure you're not skipping a step when changing the boot order (new config has to be saved). You should be able to access the boot order while booting up via a hotkey (one of the F keys, usually F10 or F12). After that you should be presented with an option to save the new configuration.
You can also try to reset the CMOS (remove the cell battery from the motherboard for a while then reinsert it, or use a dedicated...
