Processor: AMD FX-6300

Case: Enermax Ostrog ATX Computer Case ECA3253-BW

Motherboard : ASUS M5A97 R2.0 AM3+ AMD 970

Power Supply: Corsair Builder Series CX 500

Graphics Card : Sapphire Radeon R7 260X 2GB GDDR5

Storage : Seagate Barracuda 500 GB HDD Sata 6

Ram : Crucial Ballistix sport 8gb 4gbx2 kit

Do you think everything will fit in the case and everything will be compatible? im clueless with computers, and also, do you think this will run League of legends with all settings maxed out and a solid 60 or more frames? thank you

It will work but I would suggest a better PSU if possible chose one from the list in this link from tier 2 and if in budget I suggest a 270x or 280 if can work it in your budget and it will last you longer and perform a lot better. You can also use pcpartpicker and it checks compatibility of items also and lets you know if their is a problem.

Yes the case would fit it all and everything is compatible. But you'd need an af cooler to OC that CPU. Change the PSU to any 450W+ PSU from Antec/ EVGA/ XFX/ SeaSonic, CX is crap quality. Yes 260X would max out LoL w/o issues, can't say 60+ FPS, but a respectable 50 FPS or so is what I expect from this rig :)

All your parts are compatible. Tough I might suggest the following changes:
CPU: http://pcpartpicker.com/part/amd-cpu-fd4350frhkbox
Power supply: http://pcpartpicker.com/part/rosewill-power-supply-caps...

The FX4350 CPU will actually perform faster then the 6300. when it comes to games, more cores doesnt always make it faster as most games only use one or two cores at a time. Meanwhile the 4350 has a much higher clock speed then the 6300 so it has fewer, but faster cores.

The power supply you have is ok but the Rosewill has a better reputation. I have several CX model corsairs, they give me no trouble but if you ever want to push your system I would feel safer with a Rosewill Capstone.

changing the cpu into the 4350, plus adding an antec vp 450 W PSU would still make everything work?

yeah there wouldn't be any problem, though I am not familiar with the VP 450W. Antec generally makes good stuff but the Rosewill Capstone is a proven top tier power supply.

Considering an old Athlon II with a GTX 650ti can play LoL without issue, I would say your build should be just fine, if that is all you are going to play. Personally, I would go with an i3 instead, for better upgrade path, should you want to play more demanding titles later. It will perform better than FX 43xx and 63xx in most situations. FX 6300 would do better, with a small overclock, in say BF4 or Crysis 3. What is your budget for your system?

Evga's 500b and 600b are decent PSU's. I would probably go with the 600b for a bit of upgrade headroom.

I am preferable to Rosewell Capstones because they are upper tier craftsmanship and are GOLD certified so they are energy efficient. they are also fairly inexpensive compared to other brands. If I have a little extra though I love the Seasonic M12 II even though they are bronze cert. they are still higher on the quality scale. and if I have ALOT of extra money I go for a Corsair AX model.

For budget rigs, Evga is a good option. I do agree, if you have more to spend, go with Seasonic or XFX, and some of the higher tier Corsair. I have a gen 1 Corsair TX 750 in my main rig for 5+ years now. My file server has an HX 650. One of my AMD rigs has a 650 seasonic gold. Bought it from a member on here not all that long ago. The other AMD rig is still sporting an OCZ 500 I bought a couple years back for a cheap fix to a low powered rig.

I have to agree DHFF the rosewill capstone are a great psu for the price and are really good quality for that price.

I don't argue with Capstones at all. Their 1000w Capstone is a good deal for high end rigs, IMO. Evga supernova 650w gold is a nice PSU for the money too.

oh no doubt, I am preferable to Capstones but The supernovas are good stuff. I havent used one personally but I have relatives that have and they go the distance.

For his current rig though, even this one will be fine:

Honestly your rig is fine. People suggesting better power supplies aren't wrong but it is not life threatening. I have ran an OC'd 6300 with 2X 200w GPU's on a CX 750m and haven't run in to issues. Are the CX's great, no but it is not like they are some 800w labeled no name china PSU that actually puts out 400w and is terrible fire hazard. CX's will do the job. Look in to getting the best rated components for the money. For those suggesting 43XX cpus just stick with the 63XX and OC it with a $20 cooler and get faster than the 43XX anyways, just my 2 cents.

An i3 does better than even an FX 8350, in LoL. It is a poorly threaded title. Unless you live near a microcenter, I have a hard time recommending an FX. More power, more heat, less performance, and 0 upgrade path. I would suggest something more like this.

If LoL indeed is poorly threaded, then we can even go with Pentium+Z97 MoBo+cooler pair, and include a better GPU like R7 265. But yes 260X can max out the game too.
