I recently bought a Asus R9 270 gpu which when i got it i put into my computer which has a ih61m lenovo motherboard but it didnt work, all i got were the fans spinning on the gpu and no display signal.

So i tried the graphics card in my friends pc and it worked perfectly. So i tried his old gtx 650ti in mine and that worked perfectly as well so i think it may be a compatibility issue with this new card and my motherboard, but i dont know

Specs:
Thermaltake H22 mid tower case
Thermaltake 500w silent psu
Intel i5 2400 3.1ghz to 3.4ghz
Samsung 1333mhz 4gb ram
Lenovo ih61m motherboard
500gb western digital hard drive

any ideas on how to fix this would be helpful
Thanks!

Bet it's your power supply.
