Hello

As above, I'm looking for a 24inch monitor (23 is fine too really) with 2xHDMI connections.

The 2xHDMI is critical as I want to attach both my work laptop and my gaming PC to the monitor simultaneously via HDMI.

Using idealo.co.uk I've narrowed it down to:
BenQ RL2450HT
Samsung S24C550ML

See here: link
(the T-series Samsungs are more TV monitors)

So really I have two questions:
1 - is the setup I describe above possible, i.e.: will the monitor be able to recognise the different inputs and switch automatically to whichever is powered on?
2 - any other suggestions for monitors? Only other real criteria are under £250, full HD (obvs...), and good gaming performance

Any advice appreciated!

Those both look like fine choices.

You don't have to limit yourself to HDMI, you can get HDMI to Display Port adaptors and look at others. (HDMI and Display port are electrically identical, so the adaptors are cheap)

Yes, monitors will have an input selector or auto-detect.

That is a great point, thanks for that!
