CHKDSK immediately fails and reports errors, so I do chkdsk /r which finds no errors. Upon restart chkdsk fails again and reports errors. I've already checked the drive with PC-Doctor and several hard drive testers to make sure it wasn't a faulty drive. Just kind of perplexed, I'm currently running chkdsk /r /x just in case it does have bad sectors and to mark them but I'm not sure that is what is going on. The SFC shows no corruptions. Does anyone know what is going on?
