My budget is 500 pounds and I am a bit too much over the budget.
Here is the build http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/p/7mqsMp

If you have any suggestions on how I could lower the price it would be much appreciated.

Change to an Asus H97 and you will still be able to overclock the CPU.

I would also actually change the PSU, but that will do fine for a year and a bit.

Then that's about it and do tell me how much more you need to save.

What should I change the Asus H97 to?

You can save money from that. The Pentium Anniversary can be overclocked through an Asus H97. As Asus allowed that.

Buying another 4 GB dimm is not that easy as the pair may not be compatible.
Using only one dimm means you are only utilizing half the memory bandwidth of this CPU.

The power supply is rated high enough for the original system specified.
It is a tier 3 unit in this list:
http://www.tomshardware.com/answers/id-1804779/power-su...
The quality should be fine for this system.

If changing the graphics card to a R9 280 as suggested in one of the builds above, then a higher rated supply should be chosen, e.g XFX Pro 550 or XFX TS 550. These are also better quality units.
