Everytime the card is put under load the computer throws out a blue screan and restarts . Im busy downloading beta drivers 14.7 if it driver issue s also I have a thermaltake 650w litepower black edition . ? What may cause the problem?

in my case, everytime i upgrade a major component, like video card, CPU or mobo i do a fresh install of Windows. It is the best option. After that, if you still have issues, then we will troubleshoot it :)

if you didn't uninstall the prior graphic drivers propperly before installing the drivers with the disk then you'll often get blue screen issues. Furthermore no one uses the drivers with the disk. those drivers typically are "beta" drivers at best... and often have issues.

load your system into safe mode, that should get you around the blue screens, uninstall all graphic drivers, reboot the system and load into windows. install the "new" drivers. reboot, should fix the issue.

what games are doing this? what resolution? what is your system? what is your os?

you'll need to provide a lot more info before we can help you sort this one out.

I ran a burn test and thw blue screen test and found that my previous hd 7950s drivers couse the new r9 290 drivers to crash. So I took it to a pc work place and they removed the old drivers with some sort of driver cleaner?

The card works fine now . My only concern is that the temp is pretty high hitting 84 °c under full load . Is this normal ??

Anyway, i am glad we could help somehow. The entire point of a fresh install is to NOT keep anything old (except bakups of docs, pictures, music, movies , stuff like that). :D
