Old hardware upgrade

Hello every one...I want to upgrade my desktop from 4GB ram to 6 or 8GB...But I don't know CPU or Motherboard can take this amount of ram or not?

CPU: Core 2 Duo E7500 2.93Ghz
MOBO: Gigabyte EP41-UD3
VGA: Radeon 4600 series - 4670-1Gb
OS: Windows 8 Pro

And... Does my motherboard supports 1333mhz Ram?

Assuming that this: http://www.gigabyte.com/products/product-page.aspx?pid=3454#ov is your motherboard, it supports up to 8GB of DDR2 RAM. It doesn't support 1333MHz RAM (DDR2 or DDR3).
You might be able to get the RAM up to 1333MHz by overclocking the BCLK, but it's far from guaranteed. It'd be better to just go with lower frequency RAM.

Your MoBo supports upto 8GB DDR2 1066MHz memory, but higher rated memory will be downclocked to 1333MHz. Your CPU FSB is 1066MHz, so you'll have to manually set memory speed up, in BIOS. Yes you can buy 1333MHz memory, just make sure its DDR2.

Well it has a PCIe x16 slot so it'll work, but I think it's a 1.0 slot (not sure) so performance may suffer a bit. The bigger problem is indeed that it'd be bottlenecked by the CPU.
